Site development Undera Forst, Schaan

On behalf of the Communitiy of Schaan we have completed a ground sounding campaign on the development site of the Undera Forsts. The ground sounding campaign, which was carried out over an area of approximately 80 x 400 m, was completed by end of November, 2014. Within the survey area with its strongly alternating, geological layer composition we conducted core drillings down to 35 m below surface.

Dismantling and excavation PAV, Vaduz

As per end of 2014, the dismantling of the factory and the excavation of the contaminated soil close to the former PAV operations in Vaduz could practically be completed. The Community of Vaduz assigned our office to accompany the dismantling and excavation works in regards to the contamination problems.

GBB now offers topographic drone survey flights

Recently we have started using our own drone in our company, which delivers large area digital aerial photographs with a resolution of up to approx. 5 cm. Our drone of the model senseFly is best suited for the fast and cost-effective acquisition of high-resolution aerial images and extremely accurate 3D surface models.

Additional drillings in connection with groundwater surveillance for the tunnel Ruckhalde, St. Gallen

In connection with the tunnelling work for the tunnel Ruckhalde in St. Gallen, which will be taken up by the Appenzeller Bahnen AG from winter 2014/2015 onwards, the groundwater level has to be lowered on a larger scale. Our office has been attending to the geological-hydrogeological aspects of this project since 2006 and now we are also able to supervise the surveillance measures for this lowering of the groundwater level.
