Since autumn 2019, Grundbauberatung-Geoconsulting AG has been carrying out extensive investigations at a polluted site in Altstätten, focussing on the PFAS group of substances (perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals), which has only recently become a topical issue in the field of contaminated site management.

Since the beginning of September 2022, these contaminated sites have been excavated and the area is being remediated step by step.
