Expansion of the Logistics Centre Dipl. Ing. Fust AG, Oberbueren, Switzerland
After having done the environmental impact assessment report last year for the planned expansion of the new building of the Dipl. Ing. Fust AG in Oberbueren, we have now been working on various questions regarding geotechnical-hydrogeological aspects of this project.
On behalf of the engineering company K. Vogt AG, St. Gallen, we are now responsible for the geological monitoring and supervision during the excavation and civil engineering work of the new building. As can be seen in the aerial photo below, the building has considerable dimensions with a footprint of around 90 x 100 m.
On the flat roof, a photovoltaic system will be installed, which produces about 1’000 MWh of clean electricity annually. This is sufficient to supply around 300 4½-room apartments with electricity.
